If you’re here, it’s because you value giving your kids the best.
You’ve come to the right place because we also value high-quality, personalized instruction.
We offer an array of services to support you and your child through their education and learning development.

At Bridge For Learning we provide engaging, targeted, 1:1 instruction, specific to your child’s needs. We work to build confidence, bridge learning gaps, reinforce/strengthen skills, teach new strategies to support understanding, and build the Bridge for Learning!
Special Education Support
The Special Education process can feel overwhelming, emotional, and full of confusing legal jargon. We step in as a professional guide. We review educational records, help parents prepare for meetings, and attend those meetings as an objective certified professional to ensure the school team creates a legally compliant and highly effective plan for your child they are entitled to.
Parent Education
Is your child struggling to stay on top of their school work? Are you struggling to find ways to help them at home? Whether it’s academics, social/ emotional regulation, or executive functioning skills our team can help. We offer free resources, parent info. sessions (online and in-person), along with providing at home evaluations to determine needs in order for your child to build the Bridge For Learning and find joy in discovery!

How It Works
→ Step One
Fill out the “Let’s Get Started” form on our website or email us at bridgeforlearninggroup@gmail.com and tell us what you need support with.
→ Step Two
I will reach out to you directly to set up a phone call. We will take some time to discuss your child, your concerns, and exactly what you are looking for to support you and your child. I will also provide you with the ways our academic services would support your child. (Feel free to also schedule your own time here)
→ Step Three
I will connect you with myself or another learning specialist that is the right fit. (If it doesn't feel like a good match, we would be happy to rematch you). We will come to your home or an agreed upon location that works best for you. During our first 2 sessions we like to use that time to get to know your child, build rapport, and complete academic screeners to see where they stand with their grade level content. This allows us to learn how they approach the subject matter we are providing services for.
→ Step Four
After the screeners are complete, we will send you a detailed report of what was noticed (grows and glows) set goals and objectives for the tutoring sessions and begin our instruction right away!
Let’s get started sooner rather than later. Beginning tutoring at an earlier age when you start see their struggles is the best time to begin. Kids brains are sponges and their brain absorbs most from birth to age 9. The sooner you can get them additional support the better.

About Our Founder
-
As someone who will work with your child and family, I feel it is important for you to understand my experience and background within education.
During college, I worked in Higher Education within the Office of Admissions, supporting incoming freshmen and their families with the transition to college, including financial aid, major selection, orientation, etc.. I enjoyed serving families during this pivotal time, which led me to continue working with students after graduation by tutoring college student-athletes in writing, psychology, humanities, and math.
I then began my teaching career in Louisville, KY where I taught 2nd grade. The following school year I began teaching the intermediate grades and I continued to teach 5th grade from then on and I LOVE 5th grade standards. I have taught every subject; reading, writing, math, social studies and science in each of those grade levels.
When I moved back to the NKY/Cincinnati, where most of my family is, I began practicing with my Special Education License. I had been looking for a change and have had a long desire to work with kids in a different way. A way that challenged me to be creative in my approach and provide them more explicit instruction so they could access the curriculum in a way that was easier for them to digest. So, I began teaching in Cincinnati as an Intervention Specialist with 4-6 grade students.
Having extensive 5th grade content knowledge and my multidisciplinary certifications for all types of learners, supports me in my tutoring/teaching abilities. I know how a standard in 5th grade is supported with something they learned in the primary grades. This allows me to develop individualized plans for your child and bring high quality and value to our lessons. I have a strong passion for student development and educational access, and I bring a student-centered approach.
