Our Story

A woman with long red hair wearing a white t-shirt and jeans poses beside a white table filled with colorful markers, wooden blocks, and sheets of paper, against a black background.

Bridge For Learning Group, LLC was founded to foster a love of learning for people of all ages.

We do this through our Educational Services and Creative Workshops.

My passion has always centered around kids and their ability to learn in a way that makes sense to them.

A young girl with red hair, wearing a purple polka-dot dress, sitting on a striped beige and brown couch, smiling at the camera while holding a piece of chalk, with a small black chalkboard, tissues, and a box of crayons nearby.

Since I was a kid I have wanted to be a teacher (my little sisters can attest). I have also always loved the arts and being creative. This company has evolved into what it is now because of my passion for these two things.

Quotes that are a part of my belief system as an educator…

“Education is not the filling of a pail, but the lighting of a fire.” -William Butler Yates

“Children must learn how to think, not what to think.” -Margaret Mead

Facts about me

Facts about Bridge For Learning Group, LLC

I have had a long desire to work with kids in a different way. A way that challenged me to be creative in my approach and provide them more explicit instruction so they could access the curriculum and build their knowledge in a way that was easier for them to digest.

I spent my first 7 years of teaching in Louisville, KY as general education teacher where I taught all subjects in my one room school house.

In 2023, when I moved back to NKY/Cincinnati, where most of my family lives, I began practicing with my Special Education License.

I then began teaching in Cincinnati as an Intervention Specialist with 4th-6th grade students which allowed me to scratch that itch, but it wasn’t enough. Hence, Bridge For Learning Group derived. A company that supports the whole child in their confidence, creative exploration and a spirit of wonder for people at every age.

In terms of my teaching practicing I meet kids where they are and build upon the knowledge they already have. I love teaching math and supporting students through foundational math skills in order to best prepare them for more advanced math as they continue to progress in their academic career. My sessions are targeted, engaging, and personalized. I absolutely love the families I work with! See what they have to say about my services below.

This allows me to develop individualized plans for your child and bring high quality and value to our lessons. I have a strong passion for student development and educational access, and I bring a student-centered approach that always includes engaging activities.
